Honoring Those Who Defend Liberty

Honoring Those Who Defend Liberty

Dear Friend,
Now more than ever, we must work together to address the pressing fiscal issues facing our nation. Congress must address the fiscal cliff, a combination of automatic spending cuts and tax increases mandated by law, before the end of this calendar year. I look forward to tackling these problems while doing my part to protect families and businesses from tax increases.

I am serious about resolving these matters in a responsible way, ensuring we continue to reduce the size of government, decrease federal spending, and minimize the tax burden for hard-working Americans. Our country depends on it.
Honoring our Veterans

The United States continues to be a beacon of freedom, because of the brave men and women who have served in the Armed Forces. Let us honor and say thank you to those who served and their families not just this Veterans Day, but every day.

The sacrifices made by our men and women of the military cannot be taken for granted now, or ever.

I will continue to do all that I can to make sure that those who have defended and served our country are given the assistance and recognition they truly deserve. I wish all of our veterans and their families a happy Veterans Day.

Our veterans deserve the very best. If you or a loved one are dealing with a veterans claim that seems to be going nowhere, contact one of my district offices for help today .

Happy Birthday to the United States Marine Corps
Today, November 10th, marks the 237th Birthday of the United States Marine Corps. Since 1775, the Marine Corps has continued to meet any challenge in the defense of lady liberty.

Semper fidelis

Happy birthday and thank you for the 237 years of service and dedication to our freedom.

The Importance of History

Last week, I was honored to speak to the Arizona Historical Society about the importance of preserving history and sharing it with our youth.

Congressman Gosar speaking at the Arizona Historical Society's annual meeting

As I travel to middle schools and high schools across our great state, I remind students to take a moment to reflect on what America means to them. I ask them to take the time to read about our Founding Fathers and our nation’s greatest document—the Constitution . We must continue to preserve our nation's unique history.
